The Leisure and Outdoor Furniture Association is a pro active organisation representing the very best brands within the UK gardening industry, all adhering to the LOFA Code of Practice. Established in 1967, our goal is to support and promote the commercial trading and industrial interests of its members.

LOFA members offer a variety of products ranging from garden furniture to barbecues, shading, accessories and garden decoration, leisure buildings, outdoor heating and spas, and outdoor entertainment.

LOFA offers a range of services and support to its members, its primary aim as a professional trade association it to work with its members to develop good working practices, a respect for the environment and to provide consumers with up to date information on lifestyle products for the garden. LOFA’s goal is to make every member feel supported, informed and inspired.

Gina Hinde

General Manager

I’m the General Manager at LOFA and Event Director for SOLEX, overseeing operations, growth, and event delivery. With 15 years in the outdoor living industry, I manage logistics, budgets, and marketing, ensuring everything runs smoothly. I enjoy working with great people and the variety each day brings.

Sam Potter

Admin & Accounts Assistant

I’ve worked at LOFA for three years, using my accounting skills to manage finances, handle invoices, and support the office team. I enjoy the variety and problem-solving the role brings. Outside of work, I live near Bridgnorth in Shropshire with my husband and two children.

Alwyn Williams

Head of Business Support Zest Outdoor Living

I have worked for Zest Outdoor Living for 30 years. I oversee all business support functions within an organisation, ensuring compliance with regulations, facilitating meetings, and managing strategic plans. This role involves leading teams, developing strategies, and ensuring the smooth operation of support departments like HR, finance, and IT.

With a passion for outdoor garden furniture, I work closely with the LOFA council to support growth and sustainability in the industry. I focus on understanding trends, fostering collaboration, and building a strong, connected community among members and stakeholders.

Jody Grimmer

Managing Director LeisureGrow

I joined LeisureGrow in 2000 and now serve as Managing Director of our family-run business. Three of our brands—LG Outdoor, Grillstream, and NOMA—are active LOFA members. I’m keen to work with others in the industry to face challenges and explore growth. I live in Hertfordshire with my wife and two sons.

Martin Carnaby

Country Manager UK & Ireland, Broil King

With over 25 years in the leisure industry, I’m currently Country Manager for Broil King UK & Ireland, leading a team of 10. I’ve held roles at Calor Gas, Weber, and Landmann. On the LOFA council, I aim to represent the barbecue sector and help members share expertise for the benefit of the whole industry.

I’m an experienced Manager with a strong background in retail, specialising in customer service, sales, operations, stock control, and visual merchandising. Known for my professionalism and proven sales ability, I bring a solid track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Andrew Hutchison

Finance Director, Pacific Lifestyle

I’m a director at Pacific Lifestyle, a family business in Yorkshire with over 100 years’ history and long-standing LOFA membership. With a corporate finance background, I’ve worked in the business for 15 years and attended trade fairs worldwide. I’m passionate about cricket, food, and beer, and value the council’s role in tackling industry challenges together.

Stephen Davies

Director, Southsea Deckchairs

I run Southsea Deckchairs with my wife Roma and have served on the LOFA council since 2008. I value the organisation’s people and principles and enjoy supporting members and developing LOFA. Outside work, I play classic and folk guitar and have a keen interest in history.
