We welcome companies trading in barbecues and / or their accessories, garden furniture, garden lighting, fire pits, chimeneas, parasols, outdoor play equipment, soft furnishings and all associated outdoor leisure products.
Joining LOFA provides access to a network of industry leaders and opens doors to collaboration, but certain criteria must be met to enable you to join. If you’re a manufacturer based in the UK or Ireland, a distributor of an exclusive brand with local stock, or a non-UK company with a subsidiary or authorised representative operating in these regions, you could qualify for membership.
Your business model must focus on trade product sales, with key operational standards in place. These include running from commercial premises or a registered office, maintaining a stocked distribution warehouse, and ensuring that your brand is represented singularly. Retail activity through your own premises or website must account for no more than 40% of total product sales. Finally, to demonstrate stability and market experience, your business must have been trading for at least two years and have sold outdoor products in that time.

The LOFA Assured Scheme offers a straightforward solution: ensure all cushions sold by members meet the FFSR (1988) standards. By joining, your business will undergo an independent audit as a requirement for membership, safeguarding your products and reputation.
