The LOFA Member tier is designed for businesses that operate directly within the outdoor living industry — from furniture and barbecue brands to lighting, textiles, and accessories. It’s the foundation of our association and the starting point for those who want to align with the most respected names in the sector.

As a LOFA Member, you gain credibility, visibility, and access to the tools and insight that help your business thrive in a competitive market.

Is This Membership Right for You?

The LOFA Member level is ideal for manufacturers, importers, and suppliers of outdoor living products who want to build their profile, stay informed, and join a trusted industry collective.

Whether you’re well-established or on the rise, LOFA membership helps position your business for sustainable growth.

  1. After you have submitted your application, the LOFA membership directors will review it. If they find it satisfactory, they will reach out to you to discuss it further.
  2. All points from your discussion will be presented to the council, who will then vote on your application.
  3. If the council approves, your application will be confirmed, and a membership agreement or contract will be sent to you for your signature via email.
  4. Membership is valid from January to December each year.
  5. Your membership application page will be activated once the joining fee and membership fees have been received, at which point you will become a provisional LOFA member.
  6. After two years, you will attain full LOFA membership.

This process can take anywhere between 1- 5 weeks

Yearly Membership: £695 invoiced in January each year payable by March 31st

LOFA Assured Audit Fee: £950

If you sell cushioned furniture, we will submit your company to a LOFA Assured audit to make sure that your cushions comply with the Government FFRS Regulations.

LOFA Assured

LOFA Assured is an initiative to ensure all cushions sold by LOFA members comply with current Government Fire Safety Regulations. Ask your retailer why you should buy from a LOFA Assured member. Look for LOFA Assured swing tags on all garden furniture cushions to ensure they meet current Government & Fire Safety Regulations
