LOFA Council Visits Greenfingers Garden at Hope House

Representatives from the Leisure and Outdoor Furniture Association (LOFA), including members of the LOFA Council, recently visited the Greenfingers Garden at Hope House Children’s Hospice in Oswestry to get hands-on in the garden and see first-hand the impact of the charity’s work.

During the visit, the group rolled up their sleeves to help with weeding, edging and general maintenance, while also taking the opportunity to appreciate the important role the garden plays within the hospice environment.

Greenfingers Charity creates therapeutic gardens for children’s hospices across the UK, designed to offer life-limited children and their families safe, peaceful and uplifting outdoor spaces in which to relax, play and create precious memories together.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to witness the difference these gardens make to children, families and hospice teams, while reinforcing LOFA’s long-standing support for the charity and its work.

The Greenfingers garden at Hope House, known as the Gathering Heart Garden, is part of the charity’s wider mission to bring the benefits of nature and thoughtful outdoor design to children’s hospices around the country.
